When we create, do we know what we’re creating? Or does that come later?


I love this photo. Captures so much.
The man. The muse. The passion. The partnership. The history in the making, without the knowing.
The imitation you probably have your arse on right now is all because of this.
(Just a cheap version with inferior materials and poor workmanship. But I’m not here to diss your Matt Black.)
I recently watched the documentary about Charles and Ray. It’s the studio I’d love to have. Messy, crazy, unpredictable. But full of the right sort of energy. A place where they ‘made stuff’.
And that stuff, made history.
