I won’t let Madiba die.

Today Nelson Mandela died.
The finality of his death seems irreversible.
But it’s quite possible for me to keep him alive.
By taking time to acknowledge his life, in my own life.
What he stood for. What he lived for. And ultimately, what he died for:
Of man.
Of spirit.
Of choice.
Of the simple things that deserve to be valued.

Freedom isn’t always epic.
It’s a delicate reality that needs to be noticed
and protected every day.
