Making room for silly old curiosity

Just had a ‘meaningful’ chat about how the 90s produced so much great stuff.
Music. Film.
Michel Gondry. Bjork. Lost in translation. Radiohead. Pulp Fiction.
What’s happened now?
Then got to think more about it and found myself changing my point of view.
Maybe it’s that we need to look harder now. There’s more to sort through. And probably, way more ‘published’ genius and shit than before.
It’s not like this concept is new. Look, but not see?
Familiar, yes.
We owe it to ourselves in this fast paced information age, to take time to look.
And see.
And notice.
To follow our noses,
our creative instincts and curiosities.
And if all we find is a bit of peace, what a find.
